Brian Crowley is the curator of the Pearse Museum at St. Enda’s in Rathfarnham, Dublin.
Originally from Naas, Co. Kildare, he studied English and History in Trinity College and then completed a Masters in Museology in the University of East Anglia. He has been working at the Pearse Museum since 2001. Brian is also a director of the Irish Museums Association and has served as editor of its journal, ‘Museums Ireland’.
Now resident in Harold’s Cross, Brian’s book on Patrick Pearse, “Patrick Pearse – A Life in Pictures” is published by Mercier Press. Gathered together for the first time, this collection of images and photographs tells the remarkable story of Pearse’s life from his childhood through to his career as barrister, writer, teacher and his last days as rebel.
