FREE Sustainable Gardening Course

Free Sustainable Gardening Course for Residents in DCC South East Area.

Dublin City Council’s South East Area is offering a FREE Sustainable Gardening Course to local residents. The course, which was featured on
RTE Nationwide last May and again on Monday
21 st  January, 2019 will run for 5 sessions. The
course offers participants the chance to learn how to
live more sustainably, plant and manage their
gardens for wildlife, propagate their own plants
(saving money) and meet like-minded people. With
time split between walks and talks, classroom
discussions and practical sessions. Sessions will
focus on alternatives to spraying, planting for bees,
the benefit of trees, wildflower gardens, urban food

production, hedgerows and much more.

 
Workshop details:
Workshops will take place at Herbert Park from 10am to 12pm on the following dates:
Tuesday 17 th September
Tuesday 24 th September
Tuesday 1 st October
Tuesday 8 th October
Tuesday 15 th October
Participants are expected to attend all five dates.    
Spaces are limited (25 places) so please register your interest early.
