It is interesting to note that the conservation section of the city council submitted a very strong report on the scheme and it’s impact on the historic heritage and called for these buildings to be retained and for the retention of much of the San Damiano building.
All in all another reason why we need a vision and plan for the area – to stress the need for good quality development, so nb for our community meeting on Monday 6th July in Harold’s Cross National School!
At our recent meeting, Bernie Lillis gave details of two new DCC initiatives – “Adopt a Street” and “Green Dog Walker”. Bernie can provide support to Resident Associations who wish to organise
clean-up events in their area. The Green Dog Walker Programme is a new initiative
